In his address, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Governor Caleb Mutfwang, commended the initiative as a laudable and visionary step, one that lays a solid foundation for future growth and development. He emphasized that the project is not only set to enhance the revenue-generating capacity of the airport but also poised to significantly boost the economic prospects of Plateau State.
Governor Mutfwang expressed his gratitude to the MD/CE, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku for FAAN’s enthusiasm for the cargo initiative and pledged to work tirelessly to realize the state’s ambitions.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive of FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, in her response, reaffirmed the organisation’s full support for the Plateau State Government’s vision to position the state as a key hub for agricultural exports and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economy through air cargo. She described the partnership as a gateway for investors, one that promises infrastructure development, the realization of bold dreams, the creation of meaningful opportunities, and the global projection of Plateau’s vast agricultural potential.
