LAGOSMurtala Muhammad Airport General Aviation Terminal (GAT - Lagos)
The domestic terminal Murtala Muhammad Airport General Aviation Terminal used to be the old Ikeja Airport, located about one kilometer from the International Airport. In 2000 all local flight operations were relocated to the now Murtala Muhammad Airport GAT.
ABUJANnamdi Azikiwe International Airport General Aviation Terminal
The new Nnamdi Azikiwe International General Aviation Terminal is the first to be constructed at the airport since its inception in the early 1980s. The Terminal handles all non-scheduled flights at the airport.
PORT HARCOURTPort Harcourt International Airport General Aviation Terminal
Located in Omagwa, Port Harcourt, the capital of the southern state of Rivers in Nigeria. The Port Harcourt International Airport (PHC) began its operations in the 1980s.
KANOMallam Aminu Kano International Airport General Aviation Terminal
Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (IATA: KAN, ICAO: DNKN) is an international airport serving Kano, the capital city of Kano State of Nigeria. It was a Royal Air Force station before the country became independent. It is the main airport serving northern Nigeria and was named after politician Aminu Kano. ================================================= The airport has an international and a domestic terminal. Construction started on a new domestic terminal and was commissioned on 23 May 2011. In 2009, the airport handled 323,482 passengers. The bulk of international flights cater to the large Sudanese community in Kano and Muslim pilgrimages to Mecca. Construction of the Mallam Aminu Kano's new domestic terminal, adjacent to the main terminal building, started at the beginning of the 21st century with its completion in November 2009 and commissioned in May 2011.
BENINThe Benin Airport
This is one of the oldest airports in the country. The Airport was constructed in 1956 by the former Public Works Department (PWD) and upgraded in between 1975 and 1978 before it was finally handed over to the Nigerian Airports Authority (NAA). Benin Airport is located at Ogba – Oko community about 2km southwest of the ancient Benin Kingdom. The nearest community to the airport is Ekenwa aerodrome.
ILORINIlorin International Airport
Ilorin International Airport is an alternate airport to Lagos Airport, also about an hour drive from Lokoja, the Kogi State capital. Recently, the Ilorin International Airport terminal building was upgraded to accommodate 500 passengers at a time. ================================================= It was commissioned by President Olusegun Obasanjo, who apart from the commissioning also performed the foundation laying ceremony of the airport's cargo shed expected to be completed in March 2007. The Airport was commissioned on February 16, 1978. It is located at Fili area of Ilorin about 9km Southwest of Ilorin town.
SOKOTOSultan Abubakar III International Airport
Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto was commissioned on February 17, 1982. It is located at South-south West of Sokoto. The Airport is mostly utilized during Hajj and Umrah operations. The nearest community to the Airport is Bodinga.
The Airport was commissioned on 27th October, 1984. There were skeletal operations since 1978 until it was upgraded to an International Airport in 2002. The Airport is located at Jimeta, about 8km Northwest of Yola. The nearest towns are Kofere, Dunwire and Burloure villages.
Ibadan Airport was commissioned in June, 1982 by the former Senate President, Joseph Wayas. The Airport is located at Alakia, which is between Adegbaiji community and Iwo Road.
The Airport was officially commissioned in 1982 under the management of the Nigerian Airports Authority (NAA). The Airport is located about 12km from Kaduna Metropolis. The nearest community to the Airport is Isira Community.
Katsina Airport commenced operation on the 22nd December 1991. It is located southwest of Katsina and about 4km from the metropolis. The nearest towns and distances to the airport are Modoju 2KM, Makeva 3KM, and Kayanki 5KM.
Maiduguri Airport was established in the 1950 with a runway capacity of 1000 x 28M (Airstrip) at the present Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, Borno State. The Airport serves as both domestic and international operations during Hajj operations. The Airport is located in Maiduguri and it is also surrounded by Bulunkutu, Shiwari, Shelmari and Muronti communities. ================================================= The Maiduguri Airport started full operations in the early 80s as a result of the need for Airports in the North Eastern part of the country. In 1987, the terminal building and other facilities were reconstructed and modernized to meet international aviation standards.
Makurdi Airport commenced operation in 1983. The Airport is located at Fili along Makurdi Gboko road. Makurdi Airport (IATA: MDI, ICAO: DNMK) is an airport serving Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State in Nigeria. The runway has an additional 266 metres (873 ft) paved overrun on each end. The Makurdi non-directional beacon (Ident: MK) is 1.2 nautical miles (2.2 km) northwest of the runway

Margaret Ekpo International Airport (IATA: CBQ, ICAO: DNCA), also known as Calabar Airport, is an airport serving Calabar, the capital of the Cross River State in Nigeria. The airport is named after Margaret Ekpo, who was one of Nigeria's pioneering feminist and anticolonial activists. It was commissioned in 1983 by Alhaji Shehu Shagari, then president of Nigeria. ================================================= Until recently the airport was known as Calabar Airport, the Airport handles the influx of passengers on visit to Canaan City as well the new tourist haven in Nigeria. The Airport has been of great help to the tourism drive of the Cross River State Government, the recent upgrading of facilities and new Terminal Building are evidence of the partnership in making the airport one of the best airports.
