Mr. Henry Agbebire

Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection

Henry Agbebire is a globally oriented communications strategist, accomplished executive, and thought leader with over thirty years of progressive experience spanning human capital development, project management, and organizational transformation.

He currently serves as Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, where he drives FAAN’s strategic communication and reputation management agenda, strengthening the Authority’s visibility, credibility, and stakeholder confidence. Under his leadership, FAAN’s public communications are being repositioned to reflect global standards of transparency, customer protection, and service excellence across all passenger touchpoints.

Before his appointment as DPA&CP in September 2025, Henry served as Director of Special Duties, where he established and operationalized the Directorate, introducing initiatives such as the FAAN Airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme and the Culture Transformation Campaign — projects that have significantly elevated service quality, professionalism, and customer experience across Nigeria’s airports.

A respected communications trainer, writer, and publisher, Henry brings to FAAN nearly three decades of experience designing and delivering leadership and culture-change programmes for leading banks, multinationals, and government institutions.

He has also served as Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, contributing to critical reforms in airport operations and transition management, and as Senior Special Assistant at the Senate, National Assembly, where he advanced legislative strategy and development communication.

 

Henry holds a B.A. from the University of Benin and an M.A. from the University of Lagos. He is married with children.
