Mrs. Adenike Aboderin (B.Sc, M.Sc, CAN, FCIB) is the Director, Finance and Accounts, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). Before her appointment as a director in FAAN, she had held many senior positions both in the private and public sectors.
Mrs. Aboderin was a member of the 2015 Transition Committee where she served as Chairperson, Social Issues Sub-Committee.
She was also the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Ogun State on Trade and Investments between 2011 and 2014.
Mrs. Aboderin has huge interests in Manufacturing, Investments and Social Development.
Prior to her public service engagements, she held different senior management positions at Skye Bank Plc, CitiBank, Premium Securities Limited and Commerce Bank, in a banking career that spanned over 20 years.
In CitiBank, she rose to the position of Head, Trading and Manufacturing Desk in the Commercial Banking Unit. She was also the Group Head, Corporate Banking /Large Corporates in Skye Bank Plc.
She has an extensive experience in the financial services industry, which covers Corporate & Investment Banking, Treasury Services, Private/Personal Banking and Corporate Finance.
She was also a Consulting Partner at Novateur Consulting Limited, a financial advisory firm and has held positions on various boards.
Mrs. Aboderin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. She has attended postgraduate courses in Global Strategic Management (GSM) at the Havard Business School, an Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Lagos Business School and several other courses covering Trade, Investment, Credit, Risk, Treasury, Transaction Banking, Operations, Sales and Marketing.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigerian (FCIB), a Certified International Airport Professional (IAP) and an Associate member, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
She is a motivator and exceptional leader with high proficiency in business management, strategic thinking and highly result oriented. She is passionate about industrialization and job creation, and continuously strives to proffer solutions to Nigeria’s development, social and unemployment issues.
Mrs. Aboderin is married with children, and her hobbies include reading and traveling.
