DR. ANYABUOKE, JONAS M. Ph.D.
The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Jonas Maduabuchukwu Anyabuoke as the Treasury Director Revenue of the Federal
Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
His appointment is in line with the Strategic Revenue Initiative of the Federal Government on Approved Revenue Performance Management Framework for Government Owned Enterprises (GOEs.
Dr. Anyabuoke holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and has several Scholarly Research Publications to his credit. He is currently working on his Professorship.
Prior to his appointment to the services of the FAAN, Dr. Anyabuoke was Ag. Director Special Duties of the Office of the Accountant -General of the Federation, Treasury House, Abuja.
Dr. Anyabuoke was former Federal Pay Officer, Ebonyi State and later Deputy Zonal Coordinator, South East office of the Federal Pay Office.
He is a seasoned and consummate public servant whose career in the service of the Federal government of Nigeria spans over three (3) decades starting from an Accounts Officer in Federal Ministry of Education in 1991 to becoming a Bursar.
He rose to the rank of an Assistant Director Monitoring and Enforcement; Deputy Director, Administration and Strategy Inspectorate Department to Ag. Director Special Duties (Inspectorate Department) all in the Office of the Accountant -General of the Federation.
It is from this office that he came to take up appointment as Treasury Director Revenue of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
Treasury Director Revenue is an Inspectorate Directorate on Revenue Generation created by the federal government. Its role is complementary to the other directorates in the Authority. The vision for the Directorate revolves around the ability to shore up the revenue profile of the FAAN, block all leakages and loopholes and ensure that FAAN will be able to meet and settle its personnel costs, capital projects, and overhead challenges and remit the mandatory 25% revenue gross to Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF) of the Federal Government in line with presidential approval on TSA policy.
