Safety At Our Airports
In relation to Safety and security, FAAN has fully qualified experts who provide maximum security and safety at all our airports, ensuring all air travellers are safe.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has introduced a new range of measures to limit the spread of infections in the case a pandemic.
At FAAN we understand the difference between safety and security, though interwoven.
Our Staff have been adequately trained to know that SAFETY is a set of measures against human mistakes, usually unintentional actions taken out of a lack of knowledge or out of negligence of occupational duties, non-existent or incorrectly defined operating procedures or failure of technical equipment which hardly happens.
FAAN in the recent years have upgraded the Safety of all its airports to ensure international standards and practices.

2. Taxiway light,
3. Approach light,
4. Fire station,
5.Aairport emergency response system.
The Airport Fire Tenders
The Fire department is always on standby for any emergencies that may occur in and around the airports at all times.

This includes overhaul, inspection, replacement, defect rectification, and the embodiment of modifications, compliance with airworthiness directives and repair.
